magine a restaurant that served nothing but desserts – sounds amazing right? Well thanks to Haute Dolci (the latest member of the dessert only restaurant group) you don’t have to imagine any more, you can go and experience it for realsies. As long as you have a key of course.

Haute Dolci is a decadent, elegant and sophisticated dessert dining experience with beautifully presented desserts to fulfil your sweet tooth cravings. The Haute Dolci team have pushed themselves to the limit in launching another spectacular branch based in Manchester – intu Trafford Centre! The team were so lovely to invite us to their launch night on Friday 14th December 2018. We received a beautifully packaged exclusive Dolci VIP Key.

Haute Dolci has now made its way to Leicester! They have newly opened on Granby Street and we were invited to the exclusive VIP premiere event to experience their delicious menu of luxurious desserts before their opening. I got my plus one ready and off we trotted to Leicester to fill our stomachs! Ahh, I can’t wait to tell you all about it… keep scrolling!

A week ago today, I was kindly asked to go and review a brand new dessert restaurant in Leicester; Haute Dolci. Officially opened on 29th September, they kindly asked if I’d like to go and review before their opening, so I got to take my housemates to an exclusive preview evening.

Now, baring in mind we usually spend our ‘girls nights’ in the house with bake off, pizza and echo falls; this was a truly exciting experience for us. So, we popped on some fancy clothes, a pair of heels and some lipstick, and headed to what is dubbed to be Leicester’s new exclusive dining experience.

When you’ve been gluten free for a while you tend to notice the same old things all the time on dessert menus. I’m not complaining, I love me a good gluten free brownie, but the choice tends to be quite limited.

So obviously I was going to say yes to trying out a dessert restaurant with gluten free options.

I’ve heard of a few dessert restaurant concepts before but never visited one, and even as someone that loves a bit of cake, I wasn’t sure whether it’d be my cup of tea.

I visited Haute Dolci’s Cheshire branch, located at the Coliseum shopping park next to Cheshire Oaks. It was nice little occasion in the middle of a shopping trip with Jess & Leah.

If there’s anything that the fine city of Leicester isn’t short of, it’s restaurants specialising in desserts. It seems us Midlanders are a sweet-toothed bunch! For those who frequent London Road, Heavenly Desserts is the go-to. Sundaes Gelato on Granby Street is another favourite haunt for ice cream lovers, located in very close proximity to Creams (also on Granby Street) with its famous bubble waffles. With all of these dessert delights on offer, any wannabe competitor has got to do something pretty special to stand out. Thankfully, that’s precisely what the new kid on the block has got to offer. Enter Haute Dolci. I was invited along for an exclusive VIP private dining experience before the restaurant opened to the public at on 29th September to sample exactly what Haute Dolci are all about.

Ok, so hands up who has the BIGGEST sweet tooth just like me? Yep, there’s something so delightfully joyful about eating dessert. You know what’s even more joyful? Eating JUST dessert! As in, skipping your dinner altogether and heading straight to the puddings. Hey, I’m an adult, I am totally allowed to do that, ok? So when I was kindly invited by the team that represents Haute Dolci, a branch of decadent and elegant dessert restaurants, I of course said a big bloody YES! I was also kindly allowed to bring two of my best friends to join me in my wondrous adventure of eating desserts sans dinner.

Got the key? This is a phrase I’ve been seen bouncing around my Instagram feed for a while and for some reason, I’ve felt very left out. I don’t like to be kept in the dark about secrets so when I received my ‘digital key’ I was very content with life.



What does this key open you ask? Well, I’m going to let you in on one of the best kept secrets that you’ve got to hold on to until the right moment.

Most of the time I’m a savoury girl through and through – give me sausage rolls and crisps any day – but when Haute Dolci invited me to review their newest dessert restaurant at Cheshire Oaks, I thought it was well worth checking out. So my mum and I put on some pretty dresses and drove down to see what sweetness we could sink our teeth into.

How many times have you said ‘ooh, we’ll just look at the dessert menu’ and instantly been seduced into sweet heaven? Because if you’re anything like me, it’s so hard to resist the call of that gooey chocolate torte and you might want to keep reading.

When it comes to luxury, I am not a fancy lady at all. I don’t wear designer clothes, and I’m happy enough in a budget hotel, however, one luxury area I can get on board with is desserts, so when I was invited to try out Haute Dolci and their range of deliciously decadent desserts, I didn’t hesitate in saying yes!

As you may already know, me and my boyfriend took a trip down to Cheshire Oaks to visit the recently opened Haute Dolci Luxury Dessert Restaurant! I’m very pleased to say that I wasn’t disappointed in the slightest by their incredible desserts and service.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by one of the members of staff who was extremely friendly and sat us down at a table immediately. We were seated right next to the kitchen which was incredible as we could see exactly how the desserts were made! We were then given a menu and had plenty of time to choose what we’d like. I have to say, the choice of desserts was amazing and I found it really hard to choose just one!

The atmosphere of this dessert cafe is just perfect! It sits just facing the grand chandelier at the front entrance and the setting is connected to the Titanic decor.
The furniture is opulent and luxurious, this cafe have really thought about all the details. The service is very relaxed and polite, and the background music playing within the cafe also sets to the calm surroundings.

Haute Dolci is a new dessert cafe with a luxurious feel and delicious desserts. It has a similar feel to Heavenly Desserts as they are the owners? They have done a few things like adapt the menu to make it easier to read and improved their desserts. Once again they have provided as promised but keep reading to find out more!
